ତିଥି ହେଉଛି ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପଞ୍ଜିକାର ଏକ ଦିନ, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଓ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୋଣୀୟ ଦୂରତା ଅନୁସାରେ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୀତ। ପୂଜା ଓ ପର୍ବର ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ତିଥି ଏକ ମହତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ।
